I am trying to locate information on both Phillip Rolan/Roland and/or
Elizabeth (Wilbur/Gowan?? ), his wife. They were married abt 1870 in Fannin
county and had two children: Mary Ann and Charles Franklin Rolan/Roland, both
born in Fannin county...the family later moved to Clay County, Texas...Phillip
died while his children were small of "damp" while digging a well...not sure
if in Fannin or Clay county.
