Does anyone know if there are any homes still standing in Comal County from around 1880s?

While searching the 1880 Comal County Census I was wondering what homes were made of back then and if any still remain today.  I know several areas where are ancestors use to live along creeks and rivers most likely don't exist today.

Thank goodness for our conservation societies of today.
