Subject: [TXCOMAL] What is status of New Braunfels Cemetery Committee?

Does anybody know what the status is of the New Braunfels Cemetery
Committee? I need to include an update in my Neglected German Cemeteries
lecture at the German-Texan Heritage Society convention.

There is no separate section on their website for the Committee, but I found
a meeting notice:

A workshop will be held to discuss the preservation of cemeteries. This is
not anticipated to be a meeting of the New Braunfels Cemetery Committee;
however, a quorum of the New Braunfels Cemetery Committee may be present,
but no action will be taken.

Was there anything accomplished or in the paper later? Nothing in google.

Hartmann said the committee, which would report to the parks advisory board,
also would push to form a nonprofit Friends of the Cemetery organization,
which also would be devoted to raising money and trying to ensure that local
graveyards are maintained properly.
