I don't know if this is any help , but , my father told me his Grandfather was William Stieber , And he was married to Entwisle or Entwistle , her first name may have been Mary . She was from England . Supposedly descended from royalty . And my Great father was from Germany . He said they misread my grandfather's signature and our last name was changed. However, there is no proof of this . If you have found a connection, I would appreciate it . Our family as far as I know , were located in New Jersey and Pennsylvania . My grandfather was born approximately 1901 February , but, I haven't been able to find out where he was born or married . He did marry a Bertha Mcdevitt , all I know about her is she had a sister named Mame ( married name ) Parker , or Wagner Let me know if any of this helps.
