I am trying to find someone who knows about the Mar 1865 murder of Mack I D McKissack in Falls Co Tx. He was murdered by a brigade pretending to be soldiers.. He was a large land holder in Texas having land in 8 Texas counties and had 27 slaves at the time of his death. He had a brother, Young Wm H McKissack, who lived in Limestone Co Tx who was administrator of his estate. Anyone knowing details of this murder, please contact me.
