The following message was posted to the Fayette County Message Board by
Sandra Marshall on Feb 7,2003:

I am seeking ant information on my G-grandfather Dennis Mackey. He was found
on the 1870 Census in Concordia, Louisiana @ age 16 and on the 1880 census in
Fayette County, TX. He was married to Ida Scott. They had a daughter, Melissa
who married Tom Griffin. I am told Dennis was orignally from the west Indies
but I do not know where to search from there. Any help will be appreciated.
