Do you have access to the book called The Gaines County Story? There is a Jim Williams with a brother Andy that might fit as it mentioned living in South Texas. He was in GC in 1905, the wife was named Bessie. Info was supplied by Mrs. Byran Brewster for Andy Williams and maybe Jim also, it is not clear. I can photograph and send you a .jpg if this may be the right Williams.
