Clarence & Fannie Pipes lived in Gray County in 1920-30's. He was Texas
Ranger and Sheriff there until his death. Fannie was his cousin, and after
his death, she was appointed Sheriff (first woman Sheriff in Texas) by
Governor. Fannie is my maternal grandmother's sister. Will be glad to share
information.
