Thanks for the warm welcome. I am searching the Col.William Mclane family
that came to Texas in 1854 . I know William died in San Antonio,Texas. I know
he had one grandson Henry McLane that live and died Grayson, TX. Henry was b.
02 March 1890 in Texas and d.06 February 1966. He married Hazel Langdon b.30
September 1902. They had three children. Henry's father was William Jordan
McLane b.28 June 1828 in Indiana and d.05 June 1907 Texas. Henry's mother was
Alberta Beeman b. 11 March 1848 Lawrence,Indiana and d.08 August 1924 in
Texas. Henry's father was married before Alberta to a Nancy A. "Nannie"
Campbell b. 1840 and d. May 1876 Karnes Co. Texas supposedly killed by
Indians, Nancy and William Jordan had five children. Henry had a brother name
Don and Don was killed by an Indian in New Mexico. Would love to share
information on the Mclane family and associated familes,Harmon,
Walton,Langdon, McCuthen, Beeman and Campbell. Thanks Vickie
