Hello Everyone!

I hope ya'll had a good weekend.....other than being too short mine was
nice. Our vote count so far is 18-yes 0-no. That is not a good
percentage of votes per membership but since there have been no major
complaints about it I guess we will "try" to configure it this week. The
key word there being try.....so keep your fingers crossed!

Sharon, hubby and a friend Judy were energetic this weekend and got the
Rocky Springs Cemetery read. It will take her a bit to get it all typed
up and ready to put online, but it should be online and searchable in
about a week. Weather permiting we will get the Mt. Moriah Cemetery
finished this week and have it online also.

We have run into a snag or two with the census transcribing. It seems
that who ever it was that had volunteered to read the 1880-1910 Gregg
County census for GenWeb has backed out or something. I emailed the
census project manager on Friday to find out what is going on but have
not recieved an answer yet. If all else fails I will start transcribing
and ask for volunteers to proofread for me. We can put it up on the
Gregg Co. website and if GenWeb is interested they can link to it. It
will take awhile to get them done but we will get them online one way or
another.
