I for one do not object to this being in the post. It serves a great
purpose.. a means for understanding.. and a means to let others know "this
could happen to you".
For those that do not know, i live in Harrison County. The fight to keep the
courthouse is a huge one. And i hope they win it. My grandfather - JH Wilson
was the sherriff at one time, and he had his office in that courthouse! Also
his son, Heartsil Wilson - now has things in the courthouse - he went on to
be a Motivational speaker.
I have many ties you see to the courthouse. I too take it for granted.. by
not visiting each day.. as i work. But i do see it.. i remember the "stories"
from Popu.. and
i do not want the doors shut.
Marshall will be a ghost town if we can't bring life back to it. It starts
with the courthouse. So lets hope for a better tomorrow.
