Looking for the parents of Augusta Woods Hill. He was born March 17, 1872
and died March 24, 1916. He married Emma Elizabeth Morgan. She was born
January 23, 1879 and died November 10, 1948. They are buried at the Greenwood
Cemetery, Greenwood, Louisiana. They had the following children: William
Willis Hill, Alvin Woods Hill, Lewis Edmond Hill, Kathryn Elizabeth Hill
King, Murrah Peneton Hill and Geneva Hill Teer. Augusta Woods Hill has
a Woodmen Of The World Memorial at the place of his burial. It says Dum
Tacet CIAMA on the memorial. Also there's a book called Deep East Texas
Folk By Terry G. Jordan and Mary Lynn Tiller Wier. In this book the Tillers,
Crenshaws, Woodleys, Goldens, and other related families of Panola and
Harrison Counties. The surname HILL is suppose to be a related family of
these people. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone?
