I have Lewis D. Collins of Freestone and Anderson Co., TX, circa 1835-1850 (deceased by 1850).
Jackie Rice posted a query mentioning a Lewis Collins in Henderson Co., TX in 2000, but she's no longer online at her eddress for her query, and her name is too common to pick her out of a crowd in the online phonebook.
does anyone know anything about the Lewis Collins Jackie mentions? he married on Sept.8th 1846 to Elizabeth Ann Smith in Henderson Co., TX.
I know my Lewis was in Texas by 1840 as I have his land certificate.
