Good News:
The Hood County Genealogical Society WebPage is now up and running
after a crash of the hcnews.com server. The hcnews.com server had about
50% of our records and lost them all - no backup.. Fortunately we had
our own backup but it took a week for hcnews to reconfigure the server
and for us to get our records reloaded.

Also I would like to remind you that this is HCGS annual membership
drive season. You may help in keeping our records on line with your
support by joining the Society. With a membership you receive a
subscription to the HCGS Quarterly newsletter as well as support the
WebPage.

Dues are only $10.00 ($12.00 for couples) per year. Send your check to:

Granbury, Texas 76048-8623

It is NOT a requirement that you actually now live in Hood County or
even in Texas. <grin>
