Wanting to gain more knowledge on couple married in Lamar, Texas. Marriage record for J. B Hightower and EffieBeeler in Lamar on 23 Dec. 1899. I found in the 1900 Lamar, Texas census Pct. 7, Ed 85 Sheet 7, Line 26, a Jas B Hightower-25 Apr. 1875-Ala, wife Effie Hightower-21, Aug, 1877, TX. In the household is listed, DavidHightower-27, Oct. 1872-Ala.
Can anyone tell me if the marriage record and census are the same people?
Who are the parents of J B Hightower?
Who are the parents of this Effie Beeler?
Where did they go after 1900?
Anything would be helpful.
