I am researching the Francis and Fisher family in Lamar county. Both families came to Lamar County about 1900 from Independence Arkansas. James Henry Francis married Janey Elizabeth Fisher, daughter of Needham 'Cap' Fisher and Lydia Luster. James Henry was the son of James Nathaniel Francis and Laura Glenn in Arkansas. Stepmother was Josephine Helms. Any info on these families would be appreciated. I have a webpage with many family pictures of Francises, Fishers, and Helms with family trees and stories.
