Services for Kenneth Earl Davis, 52, of Milano were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, 2002, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Rev. Charles Cole of Milano First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Milano Cemetery.

Mr. Davis died Friday, Sept. 6, at his home in Milano.

A lifelong resident of Milano, he was born Feb. 11, 1950, in Rockdale to Kenneth Lee and Virginia (Beavers) Davis.

Preceding him in death were his father, Kenneth Lee Davis, on March 17, 1998, and a sister, Linda Virginia Davis, on Dec. 12, 1947.

Survivors are his mother, Virginia Davis of Milano; a brother, James Lee Davis of Milano; a sister, Sherry Lynn Shelton and husband Gilbert of Woodstock, Georgia; special aunts and uncles, John Beavers and wife Peggy of Houston, Joann Jackson of Rockdale, Juanita Brashear of Cameron, Myrtle Richards and husband John of Livingston, and Janice Jannett of Huntsville; a special friend, Robert Brock of Livingston; also, a number of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were John Beavers, Robert Brashear, Bubba Jannett, Robert Brock, David Smith, Jimmy Stork, Ricky Sapp and Richard Quesada.

Honorary pallbearers were Randy Jackson, Larry Jackson and Donald Jannett.
