Conner

Funeral services for Fran Conner, 69, were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at First Presbyterian Church in Rockdale with Rev. Trish Holland of First Presbyterian, Rockdale officiating. Burial followed in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Somerville. She died June 5, 2004 at the Richards Memorial Hospital in Rockdale.

Mrs. Conner, a Rockdale resident the past 14 years, prior to that Arlington, was born Dec. 17, 1934 in Somerville to W.J. "Bill" Nedbalek and Libbie L. Fojt Nedbalek. She was a housewife.

Mrs. Conner attended Somerville schools and McKenzie-Baldwin Business School in Bryan. She was an Elder and member of First Presbyterian Church.

Preceding her in death was her father.

Surviving are: Mother, Libbie Nedbalek of Rockdale; sons, Keith Conner and wife Christa of Bedford and Kreg Conner and wife Cori of San Antonio; daughter, Karyn Murray and husband Charles of Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren, Melissa and Molly Murray and Austin Conner; very special lifelong friend, Pat Wilkening of Houston.

Pallbearers were Kreg Conner, Keith Conner, Leon Hammett, Seigfried Backhaus, Glade Lantz and Grant Owen.
