I am searching for information concerning the Richards family who moved
from Cherokee Co AL to Milam Co according to family history, between
1901 and 1903. The mother and children are listed on the 1900 Cherokee
Co AL census, after the father's death, and on the 1910 Milam Co TX census.

The father was Robert Louis Virgil "Bob" Richards. He died 11 May 1891
and is buried along side his mother, Nancy, at Harden Cemetery Cherokee
Co AL. He marr Mary Robinett Richard 8 Oct 1867 in Bartow Co GA, she
was born 19 Sep 1846 Bartow Co GA and died 14 Jan 1937 Milam Co TX and
is bd at North Elm Cemetery.

"Bob" Richards parents are George b abt 1803 d between 1860 & 1870 and
Nancy b abt 1804 death dates for both are unknown. They are listed on
the 1860 Cass Co GA census and Nancy, the wife, is listed on the 1870
Bartow Co GA census without George.

"Bob" and Mary Richards children are Andrew Benson Richards, Nancy
Elizabeth Richards, Louis Verge Richards, James Pierce Richards, Fannie
Lou Richards, Amanda Josephine Richards, Lucy Richards, George Johnson
Richards, Willie Kathleen Richards, Ruby Rebecca Richards, Patty Stone
Richards, Annie Ford Richards, and Mayme Susan Richards, my grandmother
who marr John Middleton Fuller 23 Dec 1906 in Milam Co TX.

"Bob" served during the Confederate War and Mary received a pension in
TX for that service. Searching records for Robert Louis Virgil "Bob"
Richards has not been easy, he tended to use parts of his name on
various occasions, very seldom using all names.

I will be grateful for any information concerning this family.
