I am a volunteer researcher for the Texas Peace Officers Memorial and am doing research on Presidio County Constable Simmon DeLeon who was reported to have been killed by bandits near Palvo (present day Redford). Any information about this incident, or DeLeon would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone in the area is willing to look at the cemetery in Redford (Palvo) or Presidio for his grave site I could sure use the help!
