1. Probate minutes beginning May 1840 through December 1840.
The Probate Court apparently did not meet in November 1840. The
May minutes include a list of cases from 1839. These are the
complete minutes – not an abstract.

2. Will and Codicil of Edward O’Boyle (resident of Aransas in
Refugio Co.)
*

3. Will of James H. Morris (1840) – This Will mentions the
“new Labahia”.
*
*
4. Will of John Williams (1837). This Will has several names.
Williams names who owes him money and those to whom money is
owed.

5. Abstracts from Gammel’s Laws of Texas 1822 – 1846. In 1981
I published a book of abstracts covering this period. From this
book I have posted all information with respect to Refugio or
Refugio County residents. [If anyone would like me to look for a
specific name, I will be glad to do so.]

6. Photographs of all tombstones in the Blanconia Baptist
Cemetery. Although this cemetery lies in Bee County, it has the
graves of many early Refugio settlers. There are 5 pages of
photographs.

7. Photographs of the Blanconia Baptist Church and St.
Catherine Catholic Church of Blanconia, including the historical
markers.

(Can anyone tell me if the Jeanette Marsden in the photograph
married a Clarkson? She looks so much like the Clarkson girls I
knew in high school.)
