Ken Jones was adopted at the age of six weeks and did not begin searching for his natural parents until 1995 and located them in 1998. He will be sharing his research with our group and how one deals with the many problems which arise from this type of search.

There will be refreshments following our program. The Computer Interest Group of the East Texas Genealogical Society will not meet this month.
On June 29, 2002, ETGS and the Anderson County Genealogical Society will be present a special program at the Palestine Public Library starting at 2:00 p.m. with John A. Sellers. Mr. Sellers' program will be on "Learning Where Your Ancestors Played, Prayed, Lived and Died". This lecture deals with putting your ancestors in actual situations and places.
