Thanks for your reply. I thought for sure this was the right person. I know that my mother had cousins in Rio Grande City but I don't know any of their names. In my search I found three Petra Morenos according to the 1880 census, and each one lived in three separate counties. The counties being Starr, Webb, and Zapata, so I started lookin under Starr County first. I have search the internet to see if I could find any information on my grandmother and grandfather in Duval County where my mother was born, but have come to a dead end. Have you any information on the Munoz side of the family especially around Kingsville, Texas and San Antonio? THANKS AGAIN .
