Marilyn Logan has Fromme family, but might now know anything about this
boarder and it might not even be the same Fromme family. Just a thought.

I checked the index in Indianola and Matagorda Island, 1837-1887 by Linda
Wolff and also Indianola, the Mother of Western Texas, by Brownson Malsch.
Neither one has any mention of Chaney Russell Prouty. Have you contacted
the Port Lavaca Museum and also the Port Lavaca Public Library. One never
