Thomas Sidney Williams was born in April 1, 1892 in Wharton County, Texas. He died July 12, 1947 in Morales, Jackson County, Texas (per death certificate). In 1920, he is living in Jackson County, is married to Clara E. Flourney (born September 25, 1897 in Jackson County, Texas), and has two children, Jewell Virginia (daughter) age 5 (June 28, 1914) and Woodrow Oliver (son) age 3 (December 30, 1917).
In 1930, Thomas is living in Jackson County. He states on the 1930 census that he is widowed. He has another child, Charles Eugene(born August 29, 1922 in Jackson County). His wife died on February 10, 1929 in Jackson County, Texas (per death certificate). She is buried in the Flourney Cemetery in Jackson County, Texas.
I think that he remarried to a woman named Vennie Lenoria Pritchett and they had a daughter named Lavada Maurine Williams, born February 19, 1941, in Jackson County, Texas. Vennie died in 1943. He then married Mabel Stewart Greer.
Jewell Virginia Williams married Francis Dietrich Koop and they had at least 4 children. The children are Patricia Delores (1934), twins, Lesley Thomas and Wesley Charles (1943), and Toby Kent (1955).
Woodrow Oliver Williams had 1 child with Opal Lillie Marthiljohni. That child was Terry Edward Williams (1950).
As for Thomas Sidney Williams' parents, they are Andrew J. Williams and Maggie Hunt. In 1900, they are in Smith County, Texas with 4 children (Emma, Lillie, Sidney, and Carl). Andrew J. Williams was born in November of 1860 in Texas and Maggie Hunt was born in August 1861 in Alabama. She states that she had a total of 7 children and that 4 are still living.
I looked at death certificates and I believe that Andrew J. Williams is Reverend Andrew Jefferson Williams born November 2, 1860 in Helena, Carnes County, Texas. He died August 3, 1949 in Tyler, Smith County, Texas. The date of birth is what he gave on the 1900 census. It states on his death certificate that his father was A. B. Williams from Mississippi and his mother was ? Vaughn from Mississippi. He is buried in the Bascom (West) Cemetery in Smith County, Texas. I haven't been able to find a death certificate for Maggie. I believe that she died sometime between 1910 and 1930. Andrew remarried a lady named Celeste Lauter Flournoy. I found them on the 1930 census in Jackson County, Texas.
