I am always seeking information regarding the PEDEN family. My great-great gramdmother, Elizabeth Malinda SHOEMAKER PEDEN, in buried in the Sharon Cemetery as well as several other family members. She and several of the children, came to Wood County after the death of her husband, Robert P. PEDEN in the mid 1860's. My grandfather, John Seaborn PEDEN, was born near Wood County, in Alba, TX and his father Robert Arrington PEDEN, died near Dougherty, TX. Many of my family members are buried in the Cemetery in Yantis. I've not posted in quite some time, so wanted to mention the name again in case someone else in this group might be familiar with the PEDEN family or be seeking similar information! Thanx!!
