I have the names of ships from Greenock Sct. to Quebec. These ships were
carrying Lanark Society Settlers who were to be settled in Lanark Co.
Ont(1820-21) The "Brock", "Prompt", "Commerce", "George Canning",and
"David of London".I have passenger lists for ones to Lanark Co. only and
they are not complete lists. Your people may have have come on one of
these ship sand settled in Chambly. Strangely enough there is a James
Wilson listed on David of London.Of course Wilson is a fairly common
name, and is obviously not your guy, if you know he settled in Chambly.
Good luck in your search, Virginia
