I can't help this person, but it made me wonder. I know that Capt. Dahne and
the crew of the S.S. Columbus "scuttled" that ship before they were taken into
US custody just before or at the start of WW II. The seamen from the Columbus
(Germans) spend WW II interned in the US as enemy aliens during the war. So
what does that mean, "scuttled"? Did they sink it?
