Gottfriedt Henrich FUESTMAN, b. 10/10/1822 and his wife Katerina, b. 1841,
both born in Asseln, Dortmund, Westfalen, Prussia immigrated to the US
sometime before 1861 - we know this as their first child, Emma, was born in
1861 in Paw-Paw, Ogle County, IL.

How do I go about finding out when they immigrated, what ship, etc.

Any suggestions will be appreciated!
