Subject: [TSL] Red Star Line from Antwerp

In seeking information regarding immigrant ancestors, I have seen research
driven by the immigrant's surname, by the port of departure, the native
country, the port of arrival, and by date. What I have not seen is a focus
on a specific shipping line. Is that a feasible way to proceed with my
research? I have in my possession a printed cloth 2-pouch "wallet" for the
Red Star Line from Antwerp to New York and/or Philadelphia. The papers
inside this wallet are, however, not ship-related. My ggrandfather came
from somewhere in Germany, probably between 1890 and 1893. Should I focus
attention on the Red Star Line? Where might I find a list of Red Star
ships? How would you proceed to find the ship on which Grandpa Haussmannn
(and whichever relatives accompanied him) came to America?
Many thanks for advice you might have for me.
