Hello,

I've been looking at www.rootsweb.com/~irish/passlist/5800list.htm in an
attempt to find my Jameson relatives, but the page doesn't load beyond the
name "CURRY, Jas." Is anyone else having this problem? It's frustrating!

I am looking for information about James Jameson, born in Donegal,Ireland
ca.1826.He emigrated to NY(ca.1838,ship unknown) and settled in the town of
Gravesend(Sheepshead Bay)by 1850(listed on the US census of 1850 but not
'40).He married Bridget McKeon and their son James(1852-1937)was my
great-grandfather. The elder James was a mason in business for himself and
later held a position as a custodian in the county registrar's office. He
was active in local politics and died in 1918. I would appreciate any
information anyone could give me, especially the ship name, and I have his
death certificate and obituary. I would appreciate sharing any information
on the Sheepshead Bay Jamesons and will be
only too happy to share what I have with you.

Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
