I am looking for the ships (and or passenger lists) that came to the US during
the period between 1888- 1891 that would be carrying passengers from
Switzerland. These would have landed some where on the NW coast for access to
OR., possibly Portland.
Names:
Johann (possibly John) Trachsel b. 1863, Frutigen Switzerland
Wife Adeline Muemer b. 1854
Children:
Sussanna b. 1881, Johann D. b. 1885, Adeline b. 1886, Maria b. 1884, Frederich
b. 1889.
Possibly another son Robert b 1890
They immigrated to us and lived in or around northern OR. Portland, Salem,
Hilsboro,
Beaverton.
