Subject: [TSL] Sarah/Travel out of Quebec
Date: Fri, 1 Jan 1999 08:43:43 EST

An ancestor of my husband was on the ship, Sarah, landing in Quebec on June
11, 1871. Any information available on this ship?

He then traveled to Lee, IL. I assume this was by train. Are there lists of
passengers on trains out of Quebec?

My GGrandparents left Quebec in June of 1866 by train for Boonesboro Iowa.
Again any possibility of a passenger list? I know they traveled in box cars,
sounded like cattle cars from the stories they left behind.

What would the cost of this type of transportation have been?

Thanks for help on these questions
Happy New Year
Mary
