just to re-mention the books that show new york ship arrivals...;

1. the morton allan directory 1890-1930....daily listings...

2. a book by bradley stuart 1820-1850...daily listings...

3. new york times....ca.1850-1900's...daily listings...

that's all there is for books, beyond that it's nara film thru
lds, agll, and others...

btw, all of these show ship-name/where-from and capt-name and
thats about all...

happy day, paul
