SKS gave this advice -

"Your local Family History Center has a
computer, have them put in the latest CD with the Index of all of their
records. Search for the following film numbers:
1380256 - Soundex Name List
0419424 - Alphabetical Name List
These are the list of passengers arriving in Phila between 1800 and
1906."

however - when I asked at my local, very small, FHC they had no idea
about it and said it takes months for these things to get to them.

Is there another SKS who has access to the CD who could check if there
was a KEDDIE family about 1871 or 1872 into Philadelphia, please?
