Subject: [TSL] Needle in a Haystack?

Hello

I have just subscribed to the list for the first time so I will put down all
the information I have about the family who sailed to America.

Thomas Appleyard - dob not known
Ann Appleyard (nee Elliott) dob 3 August 1812 in Pontefract, W Yorkshire
Married 17 April 1831, in Pontefract, W Yorkshire

Daughters
Eliza Ann dob 23 February 1832 at Ackworth, W Yorkshire
Mary (possibly born in America as no dob in family bible)

Ann Appleyard died April 1861 in Brooklyn, New York
Mary, her daughter, died in New York - no date.

They must have gone to America after 1832 but I am afraid that is all the
information I have. I will understand if this is like looking for a 'needle
in a haystack' but as someone else has said "If you don't ask - you don't
find out".
