Now you are confusing me ... Tony has the names of SHIPS (shipnames) not
PEOPLE (surnames) You must though, be talking about his soundex converter

I feel listers were getting the idea that they could find GGpa (and his
passenger list) listed on Tony's site. Last evening there were a couple of
folks looking for passenger lists on Tony's other ship site - Magellan

Simply because I know next to nothing about NARA records, and we have some
very talented US members who know those records intimately, so I leave that
to them rather than mis-lead with my limited knowledge. I am an Australian
living in Nova Scotia, and my speciality is Canadian immigration and
Norwegian emigration. There is only so much room in this brain and
everything new I learn causes something old to drop out. ;-}
