Julie,
The Mokoia 1898-1929 was from the Union Steamship Co of New Zealand and was
on troopship duties 1914-18.

> My great-grandmother travelled from her home in Devon to New Zealand
probably in May of 1918. I think the ship, "Syringa," sailed to Auckland. I
am trying to find out if her mother was with her. According to my
great-grandfathers military records, at the same time he sailed on the
"Mokoia," which embarked from Plymouth on May 30, 1918. But I assume his
ship was for military personel only. Does anyone have passenger information
on the "Syringa"? If not could you point me in the right direction.
