I have just joined shipslist and this is probably an old question but here it is
Does any know approx. how long it would take ships in the mid 1800 to make the crossing from say Germany to the us.Most of my realatives records are not available due to the San Francisco quake and fire in 1906 and I dont know when they got here but were natalized in 1853 in a SanFrancisco county court.Also how long from Philidelphia to San Francisco
