Destroyer Escort 770, MUIR was commissioned 30 Aug. 1944, and That is all
i have found so far. It ISN't on the list of ships decommisioned SINCE
1980, but there is 35 years in between, and many of the WWII ships were
sold or leased and renamed,. and still may be in service overseas under a
different flag.
