This is from Robert Hendren's Family Record: My grandfather, William Hendren
was a native of Ireland. He was born according to my own calculations about
the year A. D. 1712. He was put an apprentice to the weaving business and
while in his minority, the prospects of America in their most flattering
colors were held out to invite him away from his native land, Markethill,
county Armagh, Ulster(Now Northern Ireland). William and his brother, John(my
ancestor) born abt. 1714 embarked for the land of Columbia(Columbus) about
1733 .They landed in the northern neck of Virginia in the lower end of
Richmond county where he indentured himself to the widow Howel, for the
consideration of his passage expenses. He married the widow's daughter
Mara( Annorah Howell). Would like to know which ship they come on and any
