,

There have been several questions about the 1868 and 1869 voyages
of the bark Anton from Bremen to NY but no posted answers.

These two voyage reports are from the New York Times.

Arrived New York May 23, 1868
Bark Anton (N.G.) [captain] Fricke, Bremen, 49 days in ballast
and 338 passengers to [agents] Oelrichs & Co. Had 8 deaths on the
passage.

Arrived New York November 22, 1869
Bark Anton, (N.G.), [captain] Fricke, Bremen, 45 days with mdse and
187 passengers to Oelrich & Co. Had two births on the passage. From
lon 61 W experienced a succession of heavy gales from S.E. to N.W.
during which lost and split sails etc.

N.G. means the ship was registered in North Germany, the country
including Bremen at that time.
I don't have any more information about the vessel. Both voyages are
included in Germans to America.
