Thanks to Michael Palmer for his hints about my original request for the
name of a ship which encountered a storm. The time period was either
the latter part of 1836 or early 1837. The family name is GOTTEMOLLER
or GOETTEMOELLER or GORTEMOELLER, Johann Heinrich and Elizabeth
(TANGEMANN) his wife. They had three children :Elizabeth (age 5),
Gertrude (age 3) and Bernard (about 1). They may also have had her
three children by a precious marriage . Their surname is KORTE. They
came from Niedersachsen and were going to Ohio. Heinrich and Elizabeth
were both born in 1800. Thanks for the tip.
Also researching BIEDRZYCKI, STEINERT, KULIK, KULIG, SZTAJNERT,
WYSZOWATY.
