Can anyone furnish any more information about this ship or a source that might?
The Friday edition of the Hull (Yorkshire, Eng.) Packet Daily on May 9, 1834

FOR NEW YORK, The fine British built Ship EMMA. J. Ranson, Commander, (Burthen, 500 tons) A remarkably fast sailor, new coppered, and in every respect a first rate conveyance. Her accommodations for cabin and steerage passengers are excellent. Will positively sail on Sunday the 18th of May and passengers intending to go on this ship must, with their luggage, be in Hull on the 16th. Apply to Captain Ranson, on board the ship in the Humber Dock or to Holdress & Chilton at the Exchange Buildings.
