Hello Sue and everyone else who makes this list possible...
My gr gr grandmother, Mary Foley Matthews was born in Newfoundland in 1836-37 according to her death cert. She came to the USA at one year of age. Her parents were Michael Foley & Bridget Murphy, both born Ireland.
Is it possible to find what ships were making the run between Newfoundland, Canada & NYC in that time period.? Would there be passenger lists for this period? I don't know if there were any other children born at the time.
