I just want to add a short note about viruses, innocent people and angry
responses. I opened an email and it said something about "see attachment"
and looked like it was from a rootsweb list. I opened it and my Norton
anti-virus program popped up and warned me that it was the bad trans virus.
My program immediately quarantined and then deleted it but not before it had
sent out one email. I immediately notified my mailing list to watch for it
and made sure I ran the program twice!

BUT, this sure changed my opinion about people who get infected with "Me
Nude" and "Porn whatever" (I made that up!) I want to apologize for even
thinking that people who get the virus deserve it because they are either
too stupid to get an anti-virus program or are dirty rotten SOB's for
opening "brain garbage." The one I opened could have looked innocent and
then sent something dirty. And the virus was even too fast for Norton! My
apologies to ALL the INNOCENT VICTIMS. I think the listmasters are doing an
excellent job protecting the mailing lists and I for one will think only
kind thoughts about fellow list members! Aren't genealogists the best people
in the world anyway!
