I have little or no information, but maybe someone out there might be
able to help me. My ancestor was born before 1640 in Stratton, Cornwall,
England but some researchers believe that he was born in Wales. His name was
William Eyoms or
{Iiams, Ijams]. There are so many variations of the name. He lived in Anne
Arundel Co., Maryland and married Elizabeth Cheyney about 1669. Throughout
the years, researchers have not been able to find any records on any ships
showing him as a passenger. Some say he came over on a Norwegian ship. He is
suppose to be the son of Sir Robert I'ans and Lady Grizel Stuart.
My question: What ships would have come here after 1640 and before
1668?
