Hi Ed

I am sure you have already used Google.com to reach those places no
other search engine can. I tried it and found someone who was also
looking - see below. And another gene site with some info and a
passenger list - of one!
http://www.cadvision.com/waterst/gen/gen_allaby.html , then Search for
"Duke"

BIDDLE (BETTLE)
John BIDDLE / BETTLE (brother of Josiah) was a Loyalist in the American
revolution and was a Lieut. in the West Jersey Volunteers before he
settled in New Brunswick, Canada in 1783. He came with his wife on the
ship "Duke of Richmond". Seeking his wife's name, marriage date,
parents, siblings, anything at all .

I have been monitoring this list for sometime and dedided to finally
post a request for information.

Other than a brief mention in E.C. Wright's "The Loyalists of New
Brunswick"

I can find no other source of information on these ships in the Loyalist
fleets from New York to Saint John,N.B. in the year 1783.

I know there were several fleets that traveled between the spring and
late fall of that year.

Would love to find data on the passenger lists ,or about the ships
themselves, specifically the "Duke of Richmond" and the "John and Jane"

Would appreciate any information available, or a nudge in the right
direction.

TIA Edd Sinnett
