Hello Listers:
I'm searching for information on my gggrandfather Nikolai LINDSTRöM who
was born in Sweden. I don't know his b. date, nor how old at his death on 2
June 1927 (I think: Iron Co., MI, USA). He was married to Anna Ellen Johanna
JOHNSON (poss. Jönsson) b. 2 may 1875 Sweden (possibly Uppsala) and d. 18
Sept 1945 in McKean, Erie Co., PA, USA. I have info that they had their
first child born in Sweden abt 1897/98, the 2nd b. Finland 10 Feb 1900, then
3 children born in Crystal Falls, Iron Co, MI, USA between Sept 1904-Jan1911,
and 2 more in MI, USA 1912-17, and the last child i do not have anything but
a name: Selma Lindstrom.
When I searched the Institute of Migration website:

I found info about a Nikolai Lindström (Age: adult man) departing Hanko,
Finland 6 Apr 1904 on the ship "Polaris" to England, departing England on
the ship "Tunisian" 14 Apr 1904. The site also stated his destination as W.
Superior, WI, USA.
Through TheShipsList website I did locate info about Tunisian, which was
owned by Allan Line at the time, but I cannot find a passenger list for this
ship. Also I cannot find anything about the Polaris, which I'm assuming
would be a feeder ship from Hanko, Finland to England.
If anyone could help, I'd really appreciate it.
