Hello,
The fare for an adult Norwegian traveling on a steamer Hamburg - New York in 1866 would be 35 Spesidaler. 1 Spesidaler = 1,60 US Dollar in 1866. (1,70 US Dollar in 1868) That would be 56 US Dollar. Children under the age of 12 years pays only the half and Children under 1 pays only 5 Spesidalerd ( 8 US Dollar)
